Arsen Ostrovsky wrote "So great to finally meet in person the amazing @thoufeekzak - part historian, part chef, part incredible calligrapher from #UAE - #India. He is here visiting with the UAE Bahrain delegation from @sharakango. And couldn’t think of more appropriate place to meet than #Jerusalem!" Dan Feferman also met the group, "Thrilled to connect with the inspiring and inspired artist @thoufeekzak here in Jerusalem. What a brilliant soul!" President Reuven Rivlin wrote on December 14: "Ahlan wa-sahlan! Meeting a delegation of opinion-leaders from #Bahrain and #UAE this morning. Peace is made between people and nations, and this delegation's visit to #Jerusalem today is another step towards our good and warm relations." See the video.
In the Old City of Jerusalem when they went to the Western Wall they were greeted with cheers and warmth as many embraced the new relations with the Gulf. Video from other areas in Jerusalem showed the same warm reception and coexistence. See other videos here and photos here.
