Gulf Food is coming in February

Gulfood, a large event for 5,000 suppliers from 198 countries, is considered a key food event of the year and is coming up in Dubai on February 21-25. The event noted that "beginning of this challenging year, local and international food businesses had the opportunity to reel in plenty of business opportunities during our five-day Gulfood 2020 edition. It also marked the last, in-person F&B event to be hosted in 2020 - a much needed business uplifting moment for the entire industry. Now as Dubai welcomes back tourists, residents and international visitors, we are happy to announce we are back with another edition to keep the business momentum going."

Exhibitors come from all over, but it was not clear if Israeli exhibitors are attending. Why exhibit? The organizers say that the "UAE is blessed with a strategic location between the east and west, which makes it accessible to major emerging economies, linking shipping routes and facilitating goods' transportation between the various regions in Middle East, Asia, Europe and Africa. DP world total capacity is set to exceed 100 million TEUs by 2022. Dubai’s re-exports registered a AED 24-billion and grew 14 per cent to AED 203-billion." It will take place at the Dubai World Trade Center, the same venue as GITEX.
