US Secretary of State said Iran is more isolated due to the peace deals between the Israel and the Gulf, which the US has supported. Pompeo held a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. He also met his Israeli counterpart.

Normalization deals "tell malign actors like the Islamic Republic of Iran that their influence in the region is waning and that they are ever more isolated and shall forever be until they change their direction," Pompeo said.

Pompeo's comments received widespread coverage in Al-Arabiya, Al-Ain and other Gulf media. Read more.
